IPB Internasional has consistently demonstrated its commitment to preparing highly qualified and internationally experienced teaching staff. A significant endeavor toward achieving this objective is the facilitation of the Professor Mobility Program for lecturers. This initiative is a result of a collaborative effort between Fifede Fundacion and IPB Internasional. Through funding provided by Erasmus+, two IPB Internasional lecturers are afforded the annual opportunity to enhance their expertise by immersing themselves in studies pertaining to tourism, hospitality, and sustainability in the Canary Islands, Spain.

In the year 2023, Dr. Denok Lestari, S.S., M.Hum., and Ida Bagus Ketut Soma Antara, S.Tr.Par., M.Par., both lecturers at IPB Internasional, have successfully completed this program. Their successful selection followed a rigorous assessment process attended by numerous IPB International lecturers and staff members. The program took place from July 22 to 29, 2023, during which a span of approximately one week enabled them to explore Tenerife, a prominent European tourist destination. Various locations were visited, such as the governmental offices, FIFEDE offices, the Unesco Heritage Site "La Laguna," Mount Teide, several wineries, La Candelaria, and the El Secreto de Cemiche restaurant, among others.

During their visit to the governmental office, they received a warm welcome from Mr. Efrain Medina Hernandez, the president of FIFEDE. Mr. Hernandez, a politician deeply invested in education and culture, fostered discussions that gave rise to several future collaborations between IPB Internasional and FIFEDE. These collaborations include continued support for the professor mobility program and plans to invite Balinese fashion designers for an exhibition in Tenerife in the upcoming year. Beyond their official engagements, the IPB International delegation conducted a workshop at El Secreto de Cemiche, a renowned Michelin-starred restaurant in Tenerife. During the workshop, Mr. Ida Bagus Ketut Soma Antara showcased his expertise in creating intricate fruit and vegetable carvings and demonstrated the preparation of sambal matah, a popular accompaniment to Balinese cuisine. Additionally, Ms. Denok Lestari presented a Balinese culinary book she had authored in collaboration with the Indonesian Chef Association.

Reflecting upon their week-long stay in Tenerife, both Ms. Denok and Mr. Soma expressed their satisfaction in acquiring substantial knowledge and experiences. They are eager to share these enriching experiences with their students, thereby enhancing their understanding and perspectives on destination management and tourism planning. The entire academic community of IPB Internasional extends its gratitude to Erasmus+, Fifede Fundacion, and Bali Cobta for their instrumental roles in facilitating this valuable program.
